One of the first titles created by Toaplan, Get Star seems to be about kickboxing your world free of the enemy force rather than using a helicopter or a spaceship of some sort.

There are various pickups such as a laser gun but mainly you just kick ass and avoid dying. The monsters are different ewoks, snakes, spiders, reptiles and yetis etc. etc. The level screen indicates that you kick your way through 6 worlds, the "Night Spider" planet, the "Ice Ancient" planet, the "Green Forest" planet, the "Sand Scorpion" planet, the "Next Future" planet and finally the "Enemy Base".
